About our checks
If you found ZuzzyBot in your logs, someone added your site to Zuzzy, an uptime monitoring service, to be told when it goes down.
What it sends
User-Agent: ZuzzyBot/0.2 (+https://zuzzy.app/docs/bot; uptime monitoring; opt-out: https://zuzzy.app/opt-out)
- One request to the URL the account added, usually every 5 minutes, and never faster than every 30 seconds.
- When a check fails, up to two more from other regions, to confirm before anyone is alerted. Nothing else is crawled, and request bodies are only sent if the account set one.
- We read at most 1 MB of the response and give up after the account's timeout (30 seconds at most).
- Across every account, a site nobody has verified gets at most 30 checks a minute.
Where it comes from
Fixed addresses in six regions, listed on the IP addresses page.
Stopping it
Opt your domain out with an email address at it. Once you confirm, all checks of the domain and its subdomains stop.
